Meet Our Occupational Therapist
Specializing in Mental Health, Chronic Pain, and Trauma Recovery
Hi, I’m Ali — the occupational therapist behind Solas OT.
I work with adults who are navigating mental health challenges, chronic pain, and the lasting impacts of trauma. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through everyday life — the routines, relationships, and meaningful activities that give us purpose.
I support clients in rebuilding structure, developing practical coping strategies, and gaining confidence in their ability to handle life’s challenges. When avoidance starts to shrink your world, I use principles of graded exposure to gently guide you in facing triggers, breaking unhelpful cycles, and reclaiming a sense of safety and control — all at your own pace.
I offer virtual services across New Brunswick, and named my practice Solas — the Scottish Gaelic word for “light” — because I believe everyone deserves support in finding clarity, resilience, and hope.
